- Time Lapse
We start with Shukuchi to have an early escape skill. It is also the best to score a first blood if you have a teammate close by. Next is Gemine Attack which is used for last hits and for harassing. Although it is passive it has a CD that you can check anytime. Attacking your own creeps won’t activate this skill! Lane deny is something you should do, so that you can chase longer with Shukuchi later. Next skill is Watchers so we can see the rune spawn points, when we get our bottle. We max Shukuchi afterwards mainly to decrease its CD to 7 seconds. We get Time Lapse on level 6, 11 and 16. We put another point on Watchers to have two more for the neutral camps, before we max Gemine Attack.
Note: If you don’t need map control, you can exchange Watchers for Gemine Attacks (Especially at lvl 8). This doesn’t happens a lot but, if someone from you team alredy warded the map or if you have Eyes of the Forest or Rexars’s bird you won’t need watchers that much.
Starting Items

Gauntlets X 2
Since weaver’s base hp is terrible, get two of these so that you won’t die so easily. Two gauntlets gives the same str as one bracer, and will rise your hp from 435 to 549. Also you can make bracers later. If you need hp later and have empty item slots get another gauntlets before doing so.

Tangoos X 2
Regen that cannot be dispelled, and stacks with bottle. Use them to stay close to full hp till you get bottle from the secret shop. Having a half hp weaver is the same as having a note on your back that sas: “kick me”.
Core Items

Bottle
The best possible item for early game. Since we have watchers to know where we can find runes, and have Shukuchi to get them fast, this items works better on Weaver than on other heroes. We can use Shukuchi to defend the regeneration since it doesn’t dispel it. This means you can get mana and hp while harassing with Shukuchi in case no wards are nearby. Just don’t forget that you have to activate bottle first before casting Shukuchi.

Boots of Speed
Probably the footware you will finish the game. Shukuchi gives max MS and it is spamebla enugh to get anywhere instead of using teleport. Still travel is nice, and treads can be good too, but we need other items first!

Radiance
The real core item. It has lots of synergy with our skills. For example the aura with Shukuchi and the damage with our Gemine attack. This is the best item for Weaver so acquireing it has top priority. Another thing you most know, that if the enemy has one of theese he can kill your watchers instantli. So if you see that a radiance carrier is going into the forest either kill him or call back your watchers for a short time. If you can’t save your watchers it isn’t a big problem. Just kill some neutrals and place them back where they were before.

Heart of Tarrasque
To become a real carry we will have to get one Heart. Weaver has bad base hp and even worse str gain per level so boosting our hp is natural. Bracers won’t give as much hp as this item. Although bracers give you AGI and INT too it is totally useless since our regen comes from bottle while we get damage from Radiance.
Possible & Items Afterwards

Bracers X 3
A cheap way to incriease our hp. If possible get a heart, but if you need hp badly or if you don’t have the chance to farm, than it’s better to get bracers. If you have a Luna or Lion as an enemy then get them before radiance!

Power Treads
A cheap and effective way to boost your damage after Radiance. Sine we alredy have good damage that time a little IAS can mean a lot! You can even get them before Heart if you need damage badly. Still if you aren’t on the edge of anahilation my advice is to get hyperstone instead of treads so you can form travel later.

Assault Curiass
It costs a lot, but gives extremly good survability for late game. Also the IAS is much needed to boost your damage. It’s not bad if you can’t complete it before the game ends. The components are effective alone. Start with a hyperstone to incirease damage, and get a plate mail after that.

Boots of Travel
Well the MS boost isn’t really needed, but the teleport can be good given curtain situations. If the game drags longer than expected than don’t forget to make one! If you think you need it before that, than get it after Radiance. There’s an interesting fact with Shukuchi and Teleport: Since the invi abbilities won’t cancnel chaneling you can activate shukuchi before you finish teleporting. This way the enemy won’t see you when you arrive. You just have to get the timing right since shukuchi lasts only 4 secs.

Get two gauntlets and two sets of tangoos. The tangos should be enough until we get our bottle. Choose Top or Bottom. Theese lanes have the advantage of the close secret shop with the bottle, and the long distance where you can use Shukuchi. Also it is harder to ward them for the same reason I sad before. Mid can be good too since you can obtain runes easier. Farming 700 gold to get bottle is our top priority. After that we can switch our lane for middle so we will have better rune acess. If we have bottle, start harassing with Shukuchi and Gemine attack! It is simple: when Gemine attack is no longer on CD attack your opponent. This will attrackt creep agro so activate Shukuchi, and run though your opponent! If he starts to fight back we wait for another shukuchi and run back. If creeps can see us under invisibility due to wards than start with Shukuchi to avoid damage. After that we use bottle to regain our lost hp and mana before we start the process again. If we are confident in our survival we should position ourselves in the back of the enemy just in range after a Shukuchi. If he runs backwards he will get lots and lots of free hits. Always start harassing after the creeps have collided! This way we won’t get much creep agro even if wards are nearby. Be cautious when AOE nukers or wards are close! You should play aggressively since shukuchi is strong early game, but not till the point where you die. Remember that you can avoid non AOE spells with Shukuchi as long as the enemy doesn’t have true sight (track/wards etc.) If you reached level six you can try to do a tower hug in order to kill your opponent. Do this if there are no disablers nearby. If you have run out of bottle charges go and get some runes to fill them up. Your first two watchers should stand next to the two rune spots at this time, so you will know where to find runes. If it’s a DD, MS boost or invisibility you can try to gank middle. If it’s regeneration rune return back to your lane. Next item should be a Sacred Relic. If you need more hp, than by more gauntlets, but you should only make bracers if casters like Lion or Lina are around, who can kill us in one shot. Participate in team battles. Try to make confusion with Shukuchi and if the enemy is retreating use it to catch up. Try to avoid dying before you get Sacred. After Sacred make Radiance and we are ready to go to heaven.
After Radiance everything becomes easier: farming, killing, ganking everything. We can shorten the enemies’ health just by running around with shukuchi. We should always look for a different entrance than the one our team uses to survive the first wave of AOE nukes. Come from the sides or from behind. We can get everywhere in seconds with Shukuchi’s insane MS even if it means to go back a little. Try to focus on the weak heroes between two Shukuchi, and don’t forget to use bottle. If we have been disabled, and everyone starts to focus fire on you start hitting Time Lapse like a maniac to regain your hp, and after that run away with Shukuchi. Our next items should give hp so we could fulfill the role of a carry. Just stay in battle as long as possible and you will be a good carry. Since we have decent damage and survability our next item should give IAS. So you should choose between treads and a hyperstone. Treads is the cheapest most effective IAS possible while hyperstone can be used to make an Assault Cuirass. Also if you make treads you won’t get BoT which is basic in high level games. The choice is yours! My advice is to get treads when we are forced to defend and wait for a hyper in the other possible scenario.
Gives max MS, invisibility and you can pass through units damaging them in the process. A very good harassing skill thanks to it’s mobility and low cooldown. It is also perfect for escaping. Always watch out for wards when using this skill. You can avoid targeted spells if the enemy doesn’t have true sight, but AOE-s will still screw you. Especially stompers. They are gay I advise not to get too close to them. With radiance this skill really owns. Chasing down opponents is one of the things you can do the best. Another thing to note is that neutrals become insane when you damage them under invisibility. They will start runing around, and won’t attack even if they have sight later. If they return to their camp they will be normal again. You can do the same with Roshan. Start attacking Roshan then use Shukuchi when he trows the rock, run through Roshan. This will make him run outside and in the meantime you can hit him as much as you want. If he return to his den start the process all over. You can kill Roshan without loosing hp, but it takes pretty long.

Watchers are small invisible units that cannot attack. Their only possible usage is map control. Well maybe Tiny can throw people on it, and Dark Seer can use Surge for harassing purpose. Like Observer wards just better and cheaper. First of all you don’t have to go to the Area, since watchers can move unlike wards. Because of that you can order them to patrol, but that doesn’t mean you should make all of your watchers move. Standing watchers can be more useful sometimes. Your first two watchers should be placed near the runes. The entrances to the river are close by so you can see if someone wants to gank even if your watchers are standing still. Use CTRL 1 and 2 to make hotkeys for them. Whenever you wish to check the runes, you hit 1, 1 and 2, 2. Use F1 twice to get back to your hero. Don’t waste your time clicking on the minimap. If the watcher is patrolling he will loose sight of the rune spot and we will loose time. Sometimes we cannot afford that. Rune Watchers should stand! The other watchers can (should) have patrol routes. For me these routes always depend on the game. It differs whether you are scourge or sentinel. If you have more towers than the enemy, than have more watchers one the other side of the map. If you are forced to defend use more on your own side. If you do it right you will achieve total Map Control. That is why this guy is good for inhouse games. Some think that radiance or true sight can counter watchers but they are wrong. You can produce watchers way faster than any possible counter that meant to destroy them. It’s just a waste of time running around in the forest with radiance. 30 seconds later the place will be filled with watchers again. The best the enemy can do is use observers to have the same map control as you have. While watchers are basically uncounterable, wards on the other hand are not. Use sentries with watchers to remove observer wards. On the next picture you will see the positions I prefer the most. Except for the watchers in the river I use the watchers to make routes between these points. If you hold the SHIFT key you can give multiple patrol points to one unit! This allows you to produce better routes for your watchers. Also remember that allied heroes can teleport to any watcher with Travel!

For Basic information chek out MasterJoe’s guide! Runes are extremly important for bottle users! Not only does it recharges your bottle, but gives great advantage for a short amount of time. Due to our gemine attack DD (double damage) will be our favourite rune. Hitting four times with one shot. Sounds nice? Of course it does. Remeber that DD only incrieases base damage meaning damage from radiance or sacred relic doesn’t counts. The second best Rune is Illsuion. This rune has several possible uses. One of them is to send the illusion before the hero, so that it tanks some spells for us. The other way is to use them together to make confusion, and deal more damage. Images get the burn effect from radiance, but only one of them can be active on each hostile unit. They deal less damage and can’t use Gemine attack! Haste can be good for ganks and for escapes. Although we have Shukuchi max MS we cannot attack while it is active. Regeneration is a good rune especially for early game. It’s not as fast as an original bottle charge, but restores more. Last one is invisibility. This one is the least usefull for us. We alredy have a spamable invisibility that gives max MS so this one isn’t really needed. Since it lasts longer, and doesn’t have the blue graphic effect it’s better for positioning.
This spell teleports back to the place, where we were a few (5) seconds before, restoring our hp and mana we had that time. Remember that the hp we can gain depends on time, and not on the damage we received! If you activate it too late you might get no hp at all! The timing is important, so use it when your hero received a great amount of damage. Waiting for more damage is not an option. Since this skill is similar to a blink you can use it for escapes, as shown on the picture. Since this skill restores hp, it is good for backdooring. If you wan’t to teleport back a large distance use Shukuchi to cover more ground in advance. Although I’m not sure, I believe Time Lapse is the same as using manta style. Except hard coded ultimates like rupture it can remove buffs. Remember that tracking skills like ‘Track’ and ‘Amplify damage’ won’t allow you to fully go into invisibility! Manta and diffusal can remove thoose skills.

There’s a small glitch with this skill. With Aegis or Shallow Grave (on low hero level) you can teleport back to the point, where you have been killed. Possible abusable since you can teleport back to the enemy base, or back to the hero, who pawned you. The bad thing about this is the fact that Time Laps will decrease your HP badly. It might work when you buy your hero back, but I didn’t testet that version yet. Since you don’t have to much time to do the combo use F1 when your hero respawns and hit ‘T’ for Time Lapse instantly! Same long distance teleport can be achieved by travel or with the help of Chen to get back to the place you left. Not usefull in most cases.

Worst Enemies

AOE nukers/stuners
Anything that can delay us to use Time Lapse, or damage us under invisibility is BAD. I can’t give any advice except to be carefull. With wards they can turn you uspide down, and even without them they can be extremly dangerous. You can avoid AOE spells with Shukuchi, if you use your head and won’t make a direct attack. You gain max move speed for a reason! Circle around the enemy before you attack and try to avoid enemy creeps that can reveal our position.

Trackers
The nightmare of all heroes with invisibility. We can get out of a sentry ward’s vision with shukuchi, but we cannot escape track and similar skills. Since two of the tracking skills are buffs they can be removed by purge or by using manta style. For Time Lapse to remove track… I don’t know. I will need to test it. One thing is for sure: it doesn’t restores buffs.

Stompers
When you pass through enemies with shukuchi you can see a blue light wich tells the opponent when to stomp. Even with max ms you cannot escape a skillful players stomp. My advice is to never harass with shukuchi when facing stompers. You can use it to get into it’s back, but going through them is suicide.
Best Friends

Stuners/Disablers
Since weaver doesn’t poses any kind of disabler we will need someone, so that we can own with our high damage potential. Basicly any kind of disabler can be good. We should have one with us when ganking. They can help a lot, and make life easier.

Slowers
Catching heroes with Shukuchi is a good way to kill them, but it won’t be possible anytime. If the enemy is slowed we won’t need to use Shukuchi so often, and will have more time to get the kill. Also the longer the chase lasts the sooner you will be ganked by others. Wondering the enemy base is dangerous. Don’t do it if possible!
